This Privacy Policy applies to the ShotXero mobile application and website, operated by AUTOMATECORE PTY LTD (ABN 40 684 872 820), registered in Western Australia ("we", "us", or "our").
1. On-Device Data Processing
ShotXero is built with a privacy-first architecture. All photo analysis, screenshot categorization, text recognition, and file modifications occur strictly on your local device. We do not transmit, collect, or store your photos, metadata, or media files on external servers.
2. Information We Collect
Because processing occurs on-device, we collect minimal operational information:
- Support Communications: If you contact us via email at
hello@shotxero.comor through our web contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to assist you. - In-App Purchase Receipts: In-app transactions and lifetime license activations are validated via RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store. RevenueCat processes anonymous device identifier tokens and purchase transaction IDs to restore purchases and confirm license status. No personal identification or photo data is accessible to RevenueCat.
3. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted third-party providers for billing and distribution:
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Handle payment processing and application delivery.
- RevenueCat: Validates entitlement receipts and manages lifetime subscription statuses securely.
4. Data Retention and Security
We do not maintain remote databases containing personal photo data. Support email inquiries are retained only as long as necessary to address customer inquiries and comply with record-keeping laws in Australia.
